Students

What do shared programs mean for you? During your academic program, you will take most of your courses at your home campus. However, you may also enroll in courses offered from other campuses. These shared courses might be taught via video conference technology from one campus classroom to another classroom, video conference technology in which you can log in from any location, or as an online course. Or the course may take a hybrid or web-enhanced approach that includes reduced scheduled meeting time and increased online components. Whichever mode of delivery the shared course is being taught, student engagement is a high priority.

One advantage of Shared Programs is that you have a wider variety of courses to choose from while still getting the campus experience. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and network with students across the Commonwealth campuses. You will acquire digital fluency skills by learning and collaborating via video conference technology, which may be an advantage post-graduation.
