Corporate Communication

The Corporate Communication (CC) program prepares students for various strategic communication roles in business, nonprofit, and government workplace settings.  CC professionals are skilled in planning, problem solving, and persuasion and can adapt their work to various audiences inside and outside of businesses and organizations.

Program Shared at: Hazleton, Schuylkill, and Wilkes-Barre; Fayette, Shenango, and York

Many students are a bit confused and little intimidated by the major name “corporate communication.” Simply put, CC professionals are strategic communicators for businesses or organizations.  This major is a great fit for students who like being creative, working with people, writing, and using the latest technology and social media. CC students can get experience in a wide array of communication and business courses including public relations, management, internal communication, social media, marketing, graphic design, strategic speaking, conflict/crisis, and event planning.
